MTA Physics TA Certificate Criteria

 

A. Two or more, 1 term, Teaching Assistant or Teaching Internship positions in Physics (excludes marking only.)
B. Attendance at a TA teaching talk or workshop
C. Teach a 15 minute class segment (not a class you are in) specifically for the certificate or as part of an internship.
D. Submission of a completed TA Certificate Form by March 15th of your graduating year. 

Obtain a TA Certificate Form from the Physics Secretary or online here.

List items all items which contribute towards the certificate on your form.   Have your supervisor certify the tasks were completed by initialling your form. Return the completed form to the Physics Secretary by March 15th. The form is retained for deparmental files.

Certificates are awarded in your graduation year at the Physics Banquet or Graduation Reception.

Note: Some substitutions may be allowed in the areas of outreach.
