and on an exciting new athletics and recreation project.

While in Bermuda the team participated in training
sessions and games with local teams, visited schools, and attended
functions that were planned in conjunction with their visit.
On Monday, February 25, the soccer team, alumni,
and hosts, as well as prospective and current students and their
parents, were invited to attend an alumni event that was held at the
Royal Bermuda Yacht Club. Christina Vroom ('96), Mount Allison
University Alumni Board Member, was the guest speaker.
At this event, Cornelia (Neil) Kempe ('62) was
recognized for her contribution, as a student, an alumna, and a parent
to the life of Mount Allison University. We appreciate the tremendous
support that Neil has given to Mount Allison as a volunteer by planning
and hosting numerous alumni events, receptions, and student recruitment
gatherings. She has also given many hours of her time assisting with
campaign fundraising for Bermuda House.
