Canada Day 2017 in Trafalgar Square

12 Noon: Family fun events kick off in earnest with a host of activities to choose from including a performance by hot Montreal circus act Flip Fabric
1:30 p.m.: Formal welcome and ball hockey game
The Royal Canadian Artillery Band will take to the stage not long afterwards along with a host of other acts.
3 p.m.: Canada's coveted Polaris Music Prize will be bringing some of the hottest new names to the stage featuring Pup, Tanya Tagaq, Daniel Caesar, and Safia Nolin.
Lululemon will also be on hand to keep everyone zen with a meditation bus.
7:30 p.m.: Last Call before the day wraps up at 8 p.m.
And much more including Canadian home baking, a barbecue, maple goodies, poutine, beer and, of course, Timbits.

Dr. Kenneth A. (Sandy) MacIver ('74), Director of the Ron Joyce Centre for Business Studies at Mount Allison, was our guest speaker.
Bernard Soubry ('13), Mount Allison's 53rd Rhodes Scholar, and Kylie de Chastelain ('14), Mount Allison's 52nd Rhodes Scholar, also spoke about their experiences as Rhodes Scholars and attending the University of Oxford.

Caroline Whidden ('13), Mount Allison's 51st Rhodes Scholar, gave a talk on her first impressions of attending Oxford, and Kat Stobbs ('13), Class of 2013 Valedictorian and Life Class President, gave everyone an update on Mount Allison and Sackville.
