MtA Football Fans Resized

A triple A event - Allisonians, Argos, and Alouettes....

Join special guests MtA head football coach Scott Brady and Director of Athletics and Recreation Pierre Arsenault for a pre-game dinner prior to heading over to watch the Montreal Alouettes vs. the Toronto Argonauts football game. Game time: 7:30 p.m. EST

Where: Dinner is at THE CRAFT BRASSERIE AND GRILLE at 4:30 p.m. Guests will order off the menu.  Have a look at their drink and food specials, along with their menus.  

Following dinner we will head to BMO Field, 170 Princes' Blvd, Toronto, ON
Friends and family are welcome. The more the merrier. Please feel free to attend only one of the two events.

Tickets: No tickets are required for the dinner, as guests will order from the menu, but an RSVP is required. This will be a casual dinner with plenty of time to connect with old friends and meet fellow Allisonians. Tickets for the game must be pre-purchased. We have negotiated a group rate. Mount Allison group rate tickets are $52 each. Online the regular priced tickets for this section are $65. This ticket price includes HST.

50 tickets have been reserved in the 200 level, Gold B section (30 to 35 yard line). Mount Allison Alumni Relations will e-mail you a PDF of your ticket (or tickets) during regular business hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday).

Dinner with the Mount Allison Commerce Society - March 11, 2016

Students and faculty from the Mount Allison Commerce Society, and alumni from the Toronto area, met at Spring Rolls on March 8, 2016 for a networking event held in conjunction with the Mount Allison Commerce Society's field trip to Toronto. While in Toronto, students and faculty toured various businesses to learn more about career opportunities after graduation.

Hundreds of MtA alumni gathered at Tailgate Charlie's for a pre-Mitchell Bowl event in Hamilton, then joined our Mounties fans at the Ron Joyce Stadium to cheer on our Football Mounties in the Mitchell Bowl.

Purdy Crawford Biography Book Launch

Mount Allison University and the Rotman School of Management co-hosted a book launch for Fire in the Belly: How Purdy Crawford rescued Canada and changed the way we do business as part of the Canadian Business History Experts Speaker Series at Rotman. Dr. Robert Campbell and the Crawford family welcomed guest speaker and author Gordon Pitts, with many Mount Allison alumni in attendance.

A large turnout of alumni of all ages turned out to enjoy this wonderful event and to greet friends and make new acquaintances at the McMichael Gallery in Kleinburg, Ontario.

Attendees especially enjoyed the art exhibition, entitled Mary Pratt, by Mount Allison's renowned alumna and artist Mary Pratt ('57).

Many thanks to our alumni volunteers Louise Cooke ('70), Deborah Pearce ('74), and Jessica Forsythe ('06) for their great work on planning this event.
