The integrated plan will be based on plans developed by five different sectors of the University.

Academic Plan
R.P. Bell LibraryThe Senate University Planning Committee will focus on academic matters and consider our current academic structure, programs, and staffing. In particular, the committee may look at the appropriateness of current programs and the configuration of departments, programs, and faculties; interdisciplinarity; and experiential learning.

Strategic Research Plan
The Senate Research and Creative Activities Committee will focus on the development of a Strategic Research Plan. The committee will identify areas of strategic research strength, areas for development, and how to balance support for faculty and student research.

Campus Master Plan
The vice-president, finance and administration will lead the community through a consultation on the Campus Master Plan in order to develop priorities on building use and infrastructure needs in support of academics and student life.

Advancement Plan
The vice-president, university advancement will establish an Advancement Advisory Committee to provide advice on how to align academic priorities with fund raising and strengthen our relationships with alumni.

Student Affairs Plan
Student Affairs will develop a Student Affairs Strategic Plan by examining and setting priorities on issues such as recruitment and retention, campus life on and off campus, and through updating the athletics strategic plan and revising key policies, in particular the student governance policy and the sexual harassment and sexual assault policies and procedures.
