Financialinformation

Tuition: paid directly to Mount Allison
Accommodation (one term):
130-150 Euros per month + utilities.
Transportation: $1,500-$2,000 CAD round-trip (from Halifax)
Visa: A visa is required. Cost is $125 CAN.
Insurance:MASU or individual private insurance is required ($200-$400 CAN per semester)

Accommodation

Most students prefer to live in shared apartments with other students. There is a reasonable range of furnished apartments. Linen is not included.

It is recommended that exchange students overnight in a provisional accommodation while searching for a permanent one. Two or three nights is the estimated time to find a permanent accommodation.

Visa information

Canadian citizens who reside in the Maritimes will apply for their study visa at the Consulate-General of Spain in Montreal. A long-term study visa application must be completed and then dropped off in person. The application fee must be paid at the time of drop-off.

It is recommended that exchange students apply for the study visa at least two months prior to the start of their exchange.
