Figuring it all out
Eilish Elliott did a master's degree in international economic policy after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts, honours international relations in 2015. But when she started her university journey, she wasn't sure what she wanted to do – she only knew she wanted to make a difference. Now she's working as a program assistant in the gender equality program at ParlAmericas.
On the student experience:
"We had to take four language courses (in international relations) at Mount Allison, so I picked Spanish. I work for an organization that's a network of all the national legislatures of the Americas and the Caribbean, and knowing Spanish has really helped me work here."
"Mount Allison's international relations program is so interdisciplinary. It let me dabble in a bunch of different subjects so I could find for myself what I wanted to do within this broader idea of doing good in the world. It was a great way to figure out what that would look like."
