Established to offer assistance to incoming full-time students that demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, community involvement, and/or financial need.

As a more flexible program, awards may be offered to students who may not meet the full criteria for scholarships and/or bursaries.

You will AUTOMATICALLY be considered for the awards below, should you meet the criteria. Please note that a separate application is NOT required for consideration.


Aubrey and Nancy M. Cameron Awards
Valued at $500-$1,500 (non-renewable) to recognize:

  • Significant contributions in extracurricular activities and service in high school
  • This award may be combined with all other Mount Allison awarded scholarships and bursaries except the Leta G. Hill and Marjorie Young Bell Scholarships

J.E.A. Crake Award – Tantramar
Valued at $2,100 (renewable), two awards to:

  • Graduates of Tantramar High School
  • Entering student must be registered for a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Music, or Bachelor of Fine Arts degree
  • Renewable by maintaining a 3.0 (sessional) GPA with a course load of 30 course credits between the fall and winter terms
  • This award may be combined with all other Mount Allison awarded scholarships and bursaries except the Leta G. Hill and Marjorie Young Bell Scholarships

International Award
Valued at $5,000 (non-renewable), five awards to:

  • Incoming international students that demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, community involvement, and/or financial need
  • This award may be combined with all other Mount Allison scholarships and bursaries

International Baccalaureate Scholar Award
Valued at $2,000 (non-renewable), two awards to recognize:

  • International baccalaureate diploma students with the highest predicted score
  • This award may be combined with all other Mount Allison awarded scholarships and bursaries except the Leta G. Hill and Marjorie Young Bell Scholarships
  • Also required: official predicted IB transcript

Residence Award
Valued at $5,000 (non-renewable), five awards to provide financial assistance:

  • To incoming students that demonstrate exceptional need
  • This award may be combined with all other Mount Allison scholarships and bursaries

Top Student Scholar Award
Valued at $2,000 (non-renewable), 14 awards to recognize:

  • Top academic students from across Canada and internationally
  • One award will be distributed to one high school student from each province, territory, and one international student who has earned the highest grade 12 mid-term admissions average
  • This award may be combined with all other Mount Allison awarded scholarships and bursaries except the Leta G. Hill and Marjorie Young Bell Scholarships
