Mount Allison’s full-time chaplain serves the entire University community, regardless of religious background.

Organ in the Mount Allison University Chapel. The chaplain offers counselling, grief support, small group nurture and pastoral care, as well as mentoring in spiritual and academic areas.

Vespers, a non-denominational worship service, is held in Mount Allison’s chapel on Sunday evenings during the academic year, and a multi-faith prayer room is located in the Wallace McCain Student Centre.

Maintained by the chaplain, the University Chapel was built in 1964 through the generous donation of alumni and supporters of the University – it is home to denominationally-inclusive religious observances.

You can drop in to visit the chaplain without appointment most days in his office, located on the 2nd floor of the student centre.
