Welcome to ADARP!

Director's Welcome

It is a pleasure for me to welcome you to our website. The Adult Development and Aging Research Programme (ADARP for short) began in 2000 and is based at Mount Allison University in Sackville, NB. Since 2000, many kind individuals from the local community have agreed to volunteer in our studies, and many students and colleagues have also been involved.

The main goal of this website is to tell you about the research that we do here, and to give you an opportunity to get in touch with us. We’re also going to try to add links to other websites that we think may be of interest to seniors – please let us know if you have any ideas for how to improve this website!

I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been involved in research projects in the last few years. Research provides information to improve the lives of seniors everywhere – and it is only through the help of people like you that this research can happen. So thank you! And if you’re not yet a volunteer, please consider sending us your name so we can call to tell you about our next study.

Sincerely, Odette Gould, Ph.D.
