We will do our utmost to meet these service expectations, however, weather conditions, floods and sick time may cause temporary disruptions to your custodial service.

Washrooms:

General cleaning daily with a disinfectant solution, garbage removed daily, floors mopped twice weekly (usually depends on the weather, sometimes more often). High dusting weekly.

Entrances:

Garbage removed daily. Dust mopped and mopped twice a week.
Burnished once a week. Detail cleaned once a week.

Halls:

Daily garbage removal
Twice weekly - floors dust mopped and mopped
Weekly - floors burnished, general cleaning

Lounges:
General cleaned once a week. (Dusting, vacuuming, mopping.) Garbage emptied daily.

 

Classrooms:
Boards, chalk and eraser replacement, garbage and general pick up of big stuff on the floor daily. Dust mopped and mopped weekly. Tables wiped weekly.

 

Labs:

As classrooms

 

Computer Labs:

As classrooms

 

Offices:

General dusting and vacuuming: Weekly ( of cleared space)
Garbage: Removed weekly, if you have food garbage you can empty this
into a hall can or     kitchen can and it will be picked up daily.
What is normally considered annual housecleaning will be done in the case of a vacant office.

 

Stairwells:

Swept, mopped twice weekly. Back steps are done every two weeks.


Hard Surface refinishing:
Hallways, Entrances, Classrooms-Twice a year. Offices: once a year.

 

Carpet:
Once a year.

ACADEMIC SERVICE  May - August

3 times per week

 

Entrances:
3 times per week

Garbage 3 times per week, dust mopped and wet mopped once a week

 

Lounges:
General cleaned once a week. (Dusting, vacuuming, mopping.) Garbage emptied daily.

Offices:
Garbage will be picked up weekly and the dusting and vacuuming will be done at least three times during the months of June to the end of August. Normal weekly cleaning will resume after Labor Day.
