The Mount Allison Campus is a pedestrian campus. Any area that is not clearly marked as a parking area should be considered no parking .Vehicles should not be driven on campus except under circumstances laid out in the OFFICIAL PARKING POLICY


Day time General parking
for all employees, students and visitors is available off King Street, behind Allison Gardens, behind Thornton House, behind Bermuda House, Hillcrest, Rectory Lane, Convocation Hall (only in the clearly marked parking areas.)


Extended Hours Parking
between 06:00 a.m. to 03:00 a.m. in the following lots: the King Street Parking Lot (off King Street); and the Thornton, Dunn Parking Lot, and Edwards Parking Lot (beside Thornton and Edwards houses).

between 06:00 a.m. to 01:00 a.m. in the following lots: behind Bermuda House, Rectory Lane, Hillcrest, and Convocation Hall (only in the clearly marked parking areas.)


Overnight Parking
Overnight parking is permitted in specified areas but only for vehicles in respect of which overnight parking passes have been issued. Students living in residence may obtain such passes from Housing for their own vehicles, and may receive temporary passes from their dons or residence assistants on duty for the vehicles of their guests.

Others may receive such passes from Facilities Management or Conferences. The parking lots, which contain limited areas within which vehicles with passes can park overnight, are as follows: the Bermuda Lot (behind Bermuda House); the King Street Parking Lot (off King Street); the Lansdowne Lot (on the corner of Lansdowne and Park streets); and the Thornton and Edwards Lot (behind Thornton and Edwards houses).


Both staff, students and visitors may park in front of Avard Dixon, the Swan Pond and Music Conservatory but these area are the Town of Sackville's and follow their bylaws.


Any persons found violating these policies may be towed
