  Belize Archaeological Field School

During this unique program, you will spend four weeks living and working in a professional archaeological camp in northwestern Belize with an additional two weeks afterwards to submit your final assignment. This is an intense program during which you will spend 6 days/week working on a comprehensive archaeological research project, which includes survey, excavation, artifact processing, and other activities. The program is an experience you will remember for years as it provides not only a tremendous learning experience but an opportunity for personal growth and exposure to the culture of the Latin American/Caribbean area. Students will earn 9 credits in Anthropology.

For more information about the program contact Dr. Grant Aylesworth at gaylesworth@mta.ca, visit the International Centre in the Wallace McCain Student Centre (2nd floor) or go to the Anthropology Department's webpage for the Belize Archaelogical Field School at: http://www.mta.ca/faculty/socsci/anthro/belize_field_school.html
