Students will stay at a brand new Centre with modern facilities including double rooms with attached bathrooms. Internet connections are provided in every room. The campus is small and bucolic since it is at the edge of town but only about seven km from the heart of downtown. Since the Centre also runs Masters' programs for Indian students interested in working in non-governmental organizations, Canadian students will have the opportunity to interact extensively with engaged, socially aware Indians from all parts of the country. The exceptionally clean vegetarian food is provided by a caterer who had several years of experience catering to the needs of international students. Most students therefore find that eating on campus helps avoid stomach problems during their stay in Mysore.
There are many fine dining options not too far from the campus, including
the Green Hotel (http://www.greenhotelindia.com/),
The Metropole Hotel (http://www.nivalink.com/metropolemysore/index.html),
etc.
