Academic Renewal Process

Report to the Community No. 5 – November 2008

Stephen McClatchie
Provost and Vice-President, Academic and Research

Reports of the Working Groups
The reports of the five working groups form the basis of this Report to the Community. I wish to express my deepest thanks to the Chairs of these groups for their leadership throughout the process and for their continued engagement with the process through the Steering Committee:
  • Course/Program Delivery: Frank Strain
  • Credit: Carrie MacMillan
  • Distribution: Rob Ireland
  • Graduate Studies: Nancy Vogan
  • Outcomes and Literacies: Mark Blagrave
Your comments and feedback are eagerly sought. I, or any member of the Steering Committee would welcome your reaction to the recommendations in these reports. The reports will be on the agenda of the January 2009 Faculty Council meeting and at least one general meeting for the entire campus community will be arranged. As well, and at their invitation, I hope to meet with the Students’ Administrative Council.
