Campus ID Card

Conditions of Use

Although the Campus Card is durable, a little prevention could significantly reduce the probability of requiring a new card (a replacement card will cost $23.) Here are some suggestions:

• Do not tamper with the picture, information, or magnetic stripe on the card.
• Keep your card away from magnetic fields.
• Keep the card away from excessive heat.
• Do not punch holes in your card.
• Do not scratch the card - if any information is illegible the card will not be accepted.
• Do not put the card through the washing machine.
• Do not use the card as a windshield scraper.
• Do not lend your card to anyone. Both the student loaning the card and the student attempting to use the card will face possible charges under the Judical System.
• Above all, take care not to lose your card. If your card is missing please cancel it right away by clicking here web site or by going to the ID card photo station in the Bookstore and alerting a staff member.

Lost Cards

The cardholder is responsible for maintaining a valid ID card, which is in proper working condition. A replacement fee of $23 will be charged for lost, stolen, misplaced or abused cards. Your card can be replaced during working hours at the Bookstore located in the lower level of the McCain Student Centre.

Mountie Money

Your Mountie Money balance will remain on your card as long as you are a registered student at Mount Allison. For example, if your balance remaining on your card in April is $15 and you return in September then the money is still in your account. If you withdraw from Mount Allison it is your responsibility to request a refund on the balance. All but a $5 service charge will be reimbursed.
