Photocopier not working? Please try the following before calling for service on the departmental photocopiers.

Paper jams - Store the paper in its original packaging and box as long as possible. Humidity can cause paper to jam in the trays and in the feeder. Take the paper out of the tray and fan it. Flip it if it has a slight curl.

Toner fading or streaking - Toner may be low. Take the toner cartridge out and shake. If the copied image does not improve call for service.

Photocopier not responding - Check for jammed paper. Try turning the power off and on to see if the photocopier will operate as normal.

If jams, bad copies, streaking or any other problems continue place a service call to the 1-800 number. Have the serial number for your machine ready. State the problem and the customer service staff will page a technician to return your call.
