Biology Disciplinary B.Sc. Programmes

    Note: With permission of the Biology Department, up to 6 credits from an approved list of courses given in other departments can be used as the equivalent of Biology courses in the Major or Honours. The thesis required will involve laboratory, library or field investigation, and unless the candidate shows satisfactory ability to carry on independent work, honours will not be recommended.

    INTERDISCIPLINARY HONOURS in Biopsychology is 90 credits earned as follows:

    For those taking Biology 4990, Biology 3701 is required, plus nine additional credits at the 3/4000 level in Biology and/or Psychology chosen in consultation with the two departments. OR 9 from Psychology 4990 and 4903

    For those taking Psychology 4990, Psychology 3001 and 3091 are required, plus six additional credits at the 3/4000 level in Biology and/or Psychology chosen in consultation with the two departments.
