Commerce Disciplinary B.A. Programmes
Note: The Minor and Major in Commerce on a B.A. programme are outlined below. For a description of programme requirements for completion of a B.Comm. please see Section 7.30 Bachelor of Commerce Degree.

Disciplinary B.A. Programmes

    MINOR in Commerce is 24 credits earned as follows:
    • 12 from Commerce 1001, 2101, 2131, 2201, 2301
    • 12 from Commerce, including at least 6 at the 3/4000 level, chosen in consultation with the Programme Advisor
    MAJOR AREA OF STUDY in Commerce is 60 credits earned as follows:
    • 15 from Commerce 1001, 2101, 2131, 2201, 2301
    • 3 from Computer Science
    • 6 from Economics (not including Exonomics 2710)
    • 6 from Math (not including Math 1011)
    • 15 from Commerce at the 3/4000 level
    • 15 from complementary courses, chosen in consultation with the Programme Advisor

    HONOURS in Commerce is 72 credits earned as follows:

    • 45 from Commerce core requirements (see Regulation 7.30.2 in Commerce programme material)
    • 6 from from Commerce 4990
    • 21 from Commerce at the 3/4000 levels

    Note: (1) Commerce 2411, 2501, 4501, 4511 and 4521 may be designated as Ecomomics Commerce or a Bachelor or Arts with Major, Minor or Honours in Economics.

    (2) Economics 3201, 3211, 3601, 3711, 3921, 4500, 4700, Computer Science 3851, and Religious Studies 3550 are Commerce electives or a Bachelor of Arts with Major or Minor in Commerce.
