The broad mandate of the Mount Allison Chemistry-Biochemistry Society is three-fold; to support the students of the department academically, to promote unity within the department, and to be the ambassador of the department to the campus at large. The Society pursues these objectives in a number of ways, including tutor management, parties, and advocacy.

Membership in the Society (10$) includes admission to the legendary Society parties, Chemistry Week activities, tie-dye days, career night, meet the prof night, potlucks, and a host of other fun events. Membership may be purchased at the SACtivities fair, the autumn party, or at any time during the academic year by emailing chemsoc@mta.ca Students of all academic disciplines are encouraged to become memebers of MTA's Chemistry-Biochemistry Society!
