Welcome to the MTA
Physics Soc!
Welcome,
one and all, to the Mount Allison Physics Society webpage!
Firstly, we want
to make perfectly clear that the Physics Society is not intended
as some sort of social exclusion, allowing only the membership of those
pursuing a degree in Physics. Indeed, the Physics Society aims to
become the social connection between members from various faculties,
uniting us all in the common goal of having some good 'ol fashioned
fun!
This particular page, the
Membership page, is intended to serve as the technical outline for the
society. All things to be made formal will be posted here, including
membership signup, rules, regulations, and maybe even goals (though
they will most likely come in the form of events).
Membership into the
society for 2009-2010 is only $10 for
students and professors. As stated, all are welcome to
join! You may do so by contacting Physsoc@mta.ca
and asking for the details of how and where to pay. New members are
welcome at any time; if you haven't joined yet it is not too late!
Members may look forward to outings of pizza and pool,
curling, and other physics and non-physics oriented activities!
If you have any questions, send them along to Physsoc@mta.ca. We, as most students
do, reply fairly quickly to e-mail, and are more than interested to
communicate to an active audience!
