for 2009-2010
The
Programme in the Miramichi is a co-operative programme offered by Mount
Allison, Saint Thomas and UNB. This program is designed to allow
students to remain at home on the Miramichi while taking their first year
of University courses. Some students are also able to complete their
second year of courses on the Miramichi.
Admission
Procedure
Every
student registering at Mount Allison for the first time must be admitted
to the University by the Admissions Office. Please complete the part-time
application form and submit it prior to the registration session.
Mature
Students
Anyone
who has been out of school for more than five years is classified as a
mature student. These persons may be admitted to the University even
if they don’t meet normal admissions criteria. All applicants are
considered on an individual basis.
Registration
Students
may register at any time, by mail or in person up until the end of the
first week of classes. There will be a registration session in August
at the Miramichi Campus of NBCC Gymnasium. If you wish to register
before, please contact the Department of Continuous Learning or the Registrar's

Tuition
Fees
Tuition
fees must be paid at the time of registration by cheque or in cash.
Cheques must be made out to Mount Allison University. Unfortunately
credit cards are not accepted. Off campus students pay for all courses
on a per course basis. Senior citizens (over 65) may take all credit courses
free of charge. Tuition fees for the 2009/2010 academic year are:
Canadian
Citizens: $672 (3 credit course)
$1344 (6 credit course)
International
Students: $1344 (3 credit course)
$2688 (6 credit course)
Scoudouc
River Part-time Student Bursary
The
Scoudouc River Part-time Student Bursaries are available to New Brunswick
residents who are part time students and in need of financial aid.
