Session 2009

Spring
Session classes will meet in the morning, afternoons, or evenings for three
hours. Normally 3-credit course classes meet EITHER Monday and Wednesday
OR
Tuesday and Thursday. Classes will last for 3 hours at each meeting.
Exams will take place in class on the last day or as arranged by the instructor.
Some classes are offered in shorter but more intensive ways. Please
pay close attention to the listings.
Registration
for Spring courses will begin April 9th. Courses with sufficient
registration will be confirmed on April 30th.
Classes
start during the week of May 4th.
Friday,
May 8th - Last day for change of registration in Spring term.
Please make cheques payable to Mount Allison University.
Monday,
May 11th - Tuition payment is due (payment for classes with earlier
start dates is due on the first day of classes)
Students
wishing to withdraw must do so before the end of the 8th class in order
to have the course removed and not get a failing grade.

Admission
Procedure
Every
student registering at Mount Allison for the first time must be admitted
to the University by the Admissions Office. To simplify registration,
please, print the full or part-time application forms by clicking here
If you are a student at another institution, you must obtain a Letter
of Permission from your home institution. Please check with the
Registrar's Office. All students must be in good academic standing
to register for a course in Spring Session.

Withdrawals
Refunds
are calculated from the date that written, faxed or e-mailed notification
of withdrawal is received by the Office of Student Services. All
refunds are calculated from the date that Spring Session courses start
and the date that the written request for withdrawal is received by the
Office of Student Services. Fee credits will be calculated as the tuition
fee paid for the course minus 15% times the number of classes including
the week of withdrawal, since the course began. There is no credit
(refund) given after 6 classes. Students will not be charged for
classes dropped after the first class but before the second.
Refunds
will not be given to students who do not adhere to these deadlines.
Students
wishing to withdraw from these courses must notify the Office of Student
Services in writing.
Financial

Students
must pay the course registration fee to be considered enrolled in a course.

Scoudouc
River Part-time Student Bursary
The
Scoudouc River Part-time Student Bursaries are available to needy New
Brunswick residents who are part time students (students who have
not been enrolled in full-time study in the last 12 months).
