Crisis Counselling

Counselling is available to students in crisis during office hours. Students who are in crisis should inform the receptionist; otherwise, the receptionist will book a non-crisis appointment. While a counsellor may not be able to meet with a student immediately, every effort will be made for a student in crisis to meet with a counsellor on the same day.

For students who are in crisis after office hours, please call the toll-free Chimo Helpline (1-800-667-5005), a provincial crisis phone line that is accessible 24hrs a day, 365 days. Or, call 911 or go directly to your local emergency room for assistance.
