DMF Developed Software: dmfMeasure

This program was written when the Carnoy image measurement program discontinued support for Windows. In designing a replacement, many of the unvarying, repetitive steps required in Carnoy were eliminated. Since the vast majority of measured images are generated by the DMF SEM, a means of automatic calibration was built into SEMLabel, allowing measurements to be made immediately upon opening an image file (manual and one-click calibration is also available). Frequently many images from the same sample or project are measured in one session, so loading the next image in the same folder can be performed with a single mouse click.
