In May 2002, Mount Allison launched Great Expectations: a formalized planned giving program to encourage alumni and friends to consider a long-term commitment to the University.

The Great Expectations Program is designed to educate members of the Mount Allison community about the merits of planned giving and request commitments from individuals. While all age groups are nowadays preparing their Wills, we focused our attention on a specific group of alumni and friends to determine their interest around leaving a planned gift - and we weren't disappointed. We have had tremendous feedback and we are most appreciative!
