Mount Allion University
Donor Wall

"The generous lifetime giving of donors, some of whom are named here, builds on the inpired philanthropy of Charles Frederick Allison and makes possible Mount Allison University's tradition of excellence now and for future generations."

The Mount Allison donor wall is located at the entrance of Jennings Hall.

Gift recognition.
We sincerely appreciate all gifts made to Mount Allison: but planned gifts are especially treasured. It is special when alumni and friends of Mount Allison demonstrate their long-term commitment and interest in the continued success of the University by making a planned gift. It is an opportunity to leave a legacy - and Mount Allison will be a better place because of your gift.

In recognition of your planned gift, you will receive a gift to express our thanks and, with your permission, we would like to print your name in the Annual Donor Report indicating your commitment. Additionally, we would like to post your name on our virtual donor wall on the Mount Allison web site. Of course, if you would like to remain anonymous we will respect your wishes.

If you have already arranged a planned gift, Mount Allison would like to honour you. Recognition is Mount Allison’s way of extending sincere appreciation to those who have committed to a planned gift. With your approval, your gift will be acknowledged in a lasting and meaningful way.

Letting Us Know
Without question, wills and estates are private issues. Where you choose to leave your money is up to you. While we certainly respect our donors' wishes, you should know that there is considerable value in letting the University know that you intend to leave a planned gift. To help Mount Allison achieve its long-term goals and vision for the future, it is most helpful to be able to plan with respect to budgeting for our growth and continued success. Ideally, we would benefit from knowing the value of your intended gift, however, we have found that many donors feel comfortable providing us with a gift range.

If you don't wish to inform us of your gift's value, simply knowing that you have made a planned gift, with Mount Allison in mind, allows us to plan for the future and to include you in our recognition program.

Gift Confirmation Form
We ask all our planned giving donors to complete a gift confirmation form which is a formal record of your intentions. We would be pleased to forward this form to you at any time or print a version for yourself below. Please be assured that all financial information you provide for us will be kept in strictest confidence.

It is important to note that filling out the gift confirmation form does not constitute a legal directive in your Will. To ensure your wishes are carried out, a simple codicil or amendment to your current Will is all that is needed.
