This
volume catalogues the private library of Edgar Davidson, collected
over a lifetime. In 1969, Edgar and Dorothy Davidson established a
Chair in Canadian Studies at Mount Allison and donated a collection
of nearly six hundred rare first-edition books and imprints, spanning
the seventeenth through nineteenth centuries. This extensive collection
reflects the personality of the collector himself, his dedication,
and his widespread interest in the story of Canada. |
