Art history has become a fascinating field of study. With its interdisciplinary approach it encompasses a broad range of visual, cultural and critical studies. With an art history background students can gain valuable insight into history, philosophy, and the humanities in general.
As a professor in art history I approach teaching and research within an interdisciplinary format, including examining the social history, context and the object. My teaching is often interactive and attempts to involve the students in an active engagement with visual culture.
