Undergraduate Language Prizes:
The prizes for 2008-2009 in French and in German will be awarded in the fall.

Japanese Speech Contest:
Once again, Mount Allison University students of Japanese did very well in the 2009 Atlantic Canada Speech contest.
Intermediate category 3rd place: Rachael Buell
Advanced category 2nd place: Sami Ellaia
Open category 1st place: Abby Hunter

GENERAL ELIGIBILITY
1. All contestants must be 18 years of age or older. 2. All contestants must reside in Atlantic Canada. 3. All contestants must presently be studying Japanese as a foreign language at an institution officially recognized by the Organizing Committee. The institutions officially recognized by the Organizing Committee to date are: Memorial University of Newfoundland, Mount Allison University, St. Mary's University, St.Thomas University, the University of New Brunswick and the University of Prince Edward Island.
