Mount Allison University allows transfer
of up to six credits in French for the completion of a spring or summer immersion
course, either on one's own or through the Explore programme (formerly
called the Summer Bursary Language Programme) sponsored by the Canadian council
of Ministers of Education (http://www.myexplore.ca).
The credits will be appear on the
transcript as "undesignated 1000-level immersion French." Please note that 6
credits are the maximum allowed for such courses regardless of what "level"

The six credits may not be used toward the core requirements for the Minor,
Major or Honours in French. They may be counted toward the 18 "complementary
credits" in Arts, Letters and Humanities required for the Major in French or
as general electives.
