I grew up on a farm in southern Ontario. I still love to get my hands dirty growing my own food in my garden and greenhouse every year. I also discovered a love of theatre early on, so I studied acting and theatre studies at York University, followed by more studies in Medieval and Canadian theatre at U of Toronto.
Over the years, I worked on many shows stage-managing, directing, acting, doing tech work, and anything else! I also managed a small theatre on campus for a couple of years. Since graduating, I have taught in London, Ontario, Quebec, and in Moncton, doing theatre and researching areas of theatre history, theatre translation, and Canadian theatre.
But coming to Mount A Drama Studies is like coming home for me. Being part of such a unique and exciting program that combines exceptional academic courses with terrific practical experience is a dream come true!
