When I look back now, I realize that my love of theatre began really early. I saw my first play when I was six years old and was enchanted. Later, when I was eight, and twelve, and seventeen, it happened all over again.

This fascination has never left me since and soon, there was little doubt in my mind – I had to explore it futher. I enrolled in theatre studies at the University of Lethbridge and UVIC, before moving on to graduate studies at UBC (MA) and the University of Toronto (PHD). Throughout these years, I participated in many shows both on stage as well as backstage, professional and non-professional, stage-managing, assistant stage-managing, teching, acting and directing, and researching modern and contemporary drama, stage-direccting and scenography.
