Peter Higham is the Music Librarian at Mount Allison University Libraries, but has also taught guitar for the Department of Music since holding this position.  He studied guitar with Robert Jordan, Hector Quine and Carlos Bonell, and he attended masterclasses conducted by Julian Bream and Alirio Diaz.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Music degrees from the University of Alberta and is a Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music (London).  He formed and performed with the Tedesco Trio and the Webern Trio, and has collaborated with several vocalists, and in duos especially with cello.  Peter Higham has adjudicated at Nova Scotia and New Brunswick Music Festivals and has acted as an Arts Board juror.  He has premiered works with guitar by several Canadian composers including Violet Archer and John Beckwith, and he has contributed arrangements to the repertoire, especially for voice and guitar, cello and guitar, and for violin and guitar.
