BIOLOGY 3011 - EVOLUTION

Course Description

A lecture course investigating modern theories of biological evolution and natural selection. Discussion of these ideas requires an understanding of the types of evidence for biological change in organisms, Mendelian genetics and mechanisms of inheritance, sources of genetic variability in natural populations and genetic equilibrium of populations.
