Course Description In the broadest sense, the science of Population Biology focuses on explaining and predicting the dynamics of populations. This course specifically investigates the genetic properties of populations. The basic concepts used to describe and measure the genetic variation within and between populations will be presented in a lecture format. Theoretical and observed consequences of population differences will be considered.
