BIOLOGY 4990 - HONOURS THESIS IN BIOLOGY

Course Description

The thesis requires a report on a laboratory or field investigation carried out by arrangement with, and under the direction of, an appropriate member of faculty. This course is open only to candidates for Honours in Biology in their senior year.

Method Each student's program will be planned individually using lectures, reading, tutorials, laboratory work, etc. A written proposal must be submitted to the supervisor for transmission to the department for approval.
 
Prerequisites

Consent of the supervising faculty member prior to registration and permission of the Department. To enroll in Biology 4990, students should have a GPA of 3.0 both in prescribed Honours courses and overall.
