2008: Community profiles included in INAC Social Program Evaluation Reports

2006 to Present:  Land Claims reports based on historical document research and oral history Interviews.

2007:  A report on traditional land uses, prepared for the Saugeen FN and Chippewas of Nawash FN Environment Office.

2006: A background research report for development of an Aboriginal Resource Management program, submitted to Chippewas of Nawash FN and University of Guelph.
 
Community Involvement

2008 and 2009 - Several traditional music reviews and a review/profile article are published in Penguin Eggs Magazine (Issues #40 and #41). http://www.penguineggs.ab.ca/

Other Musical Involvments:

For more than a decade I have participated in local community activities as a musical performer and entertainment/cultural-event organizer/coordinator. The Grand River Ceili Band, of which I am a member, was nominated for a Kitchener-Waterloo Arts Award in 2008.  

Other Local Organization Involvement:
  • Since 2004:  Parent’s Group and Board member of Parents for Community Living in Kitchener, Ontario - an organization that provides care and support for disabled individuals. www.pclkw.org/
  • 2000-2005:  Waterloo Region Environmental Sustainability Awards Committee Member.
  • 2000-2001:  Steering Committee Member for Waterloo downtown neighborhood historical designation process.
  • 1999-2001:  Waterloo Citizens Environmental Advisory Committee Member.
