Joined  commerce department in 1987. Prior to that worked as marketing manager in medical and technology industries. Has presented research at various conferences and published in proceedings. Has been a paper reviewer, track chair and proceedings editor. Former president of the Atlantic Schools of Business and currently serves ASB as a member at large. Focuses on marketing management, planning, strategy and communications in small or medium sized businesses. Also interested in the area of sports marketing. Has also taught in the MBA program at Université de Moncton. Has performed numerous university service related activities including Tenure & Promotion Committee, Sabbatical Leaves Committee, University Senate, Senate Teaching Committee, University Governance Committee, University Judicial Committee, Health Plan Advisory Committee and has been departmental chair. Active volunteer in the community as coach and marketing advisor. Member of the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada and the American Marketing Association.
