  Environmental Studies Programme

The Major and Minor in Environmental Studies

The ES Major and Minor have the same general approach in that both require students to take credits in a range of disciplines (see course listings below). Majors are required to take 72 total credits, with 24 credits at the 3000/4000 level, whereas Minors need only take 24 total credits (9 of which must be at the 3000/4000 level).

Majors are also required to take a 6 credit "capstone" course in Environmental Studies (ENST4000), whereas this course is optional for Minors.

Note: Some of the following courses have prerequisites that are not listed in the requirements for the Environmental Studies programmes.

(3) and (6) denote number of credits.
