STUDENT PAPER COMPETITION

The competition is open to any master's or Ph.D. student who is presenting a paper at the 2012 CAG meeting. Senior undergraduate papers (for instance, those based on original Honour’s research) are also eligible. The paper must be based on research that is dealing broadly with a topic in economic geography and its subfields. Essays may be submitted electronically, in either French or English, and must not exceed 5,000 words, including references and footnotes. The deadline for submissions is FRIDAY APRIL 27th. Please send your paper to: treiffen@mta.ca

Please include the following information with your submission: name and contact information; an abstract of approximately 250 words; the name of your faculty supervisor and your institution. The submissions will be evaluated by a committee EGSG (including the Chair). The winner will receive a cash prize of $150. The winner will be announced at the 2012 CAG Annual Meeting and in the CAG newsletter.
