J. Robert Winters, Q.C. and Dawn MacNutt ('57, LLD '14) cordially invite you to attend The Stewart McKelvey Global Brigades Gala in support of the work of Mount Allison's Global Brigades.
We are pleased to have Mount Allison music grad, Scott Jones ('08) join us as guest speaker for this year’s gala.
Scott was attacked in 2013 in his hometown of New Glasgow, NS, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. In spite of this adversity and the struggles that have come with adapting to his new life, Scott has continued to move forward through many obstacles while continuing to maintain his sense of humor and a positive and optimistic outlook.
Since his attack, Scott has taken on a new view of life with the mantra: "Do not let fear overtake you. Just look at your fear and explore it."
Please join us as Scott shares his inspirational story.
