Mission of the Health Matters Society

The Health Matters Society exists to promote health and wellness within the Mount Allison community, encouraging students and staff alike to be considerate of and responsible for their health and well being.

The Health Matters Society believes that the first step to preventing illness is education and increasing the awareness that the community has of illness, in it's many forms.

The Health Matters Society is comprised of students that work in conjuncture with the Nurse/Educator to make the Mount Allison community increasingly health conscious and to encourage healthy living.

The Health Matters Society believes that students are at an ideal time in their lives to choose healthy lifestyles and to make decisions that will benefit their well-being for many years to come.
