The Student Health Centre is a confidential, nonjudgmental health service that strives to reduce health barriers for young adults living away from home. The Health Centre promotes healthy living, is supportive and treats illness and injuries, so that absences from classes are kept to a minimum. This health service provides health promotion initiatives, health education, including knowledge of current health issues, testing, counselling, clinical services, and referrals, when appropriate. CONFIDENTIALITY: While the Centre provides confidential service, it retains the right to share information to prevent suicide or harm. Medical information can only be released with the client's written authorization. |
