Tuition Discount Program


A Tuition Discount Program is provided to eligible employees and their family members. A brief summary of the program is provided below.

Generally, the program is available to employees on full-time continuing contracts. For clarification or further information, please contact the Human Resources department.

Mount Allison Faculty:
Our fee discount policy currently provides a 75% fee discount for eligible credit courses offered by Mount Allison. It covers a person employed full-time by the University from the first day of his or her appointment. It covers his or her spouse and dependent children from a date which is two years after the initial appointment. The value of the tuition fee discount will be reported as a scholarship on a T4A slip issued to your spouse or dependent child.

Other Eligible Employees:
Our fee discount policy currently provides a 100% fee discount for eligible credit courses offered by Mount Allison. It covers a person employed full-time by the University from the first day of his or her appointment. It covers his or her spouse and dependent children from a date which is two years after the initial appointment. The value of the tuition fee discount will be reported as a scholarship on a T4A slip issued to your spouse or dependent child.

Employees on a term appointment may be eligible for a fee discount for one credit course. The discount may be pro-rated for part-time employees.
