Holidays

In addition to the Christmas Break (see details below), the University observes the following holidays:

Good Friday - Friday before Easter Sunday
Victoria Day - May 24, if it is a Monday otherwise, the previous Monday
Canada Day - July 1 unless that day is a Sunday in which case the holiday is July 2. The holiday is celebrated on July 3 if July 1 is a Saturday.
New Brunswick Day - First Monday in August.
Labour Day - First Monday in September
Thanksgiving Day - Second Monday in October
Remembrance Day - November 11 unless that day is a Saturday or Sunday in which case the holiday is celebrated on either the previous Friday or the following Monday. In 2011, the holiday will be observed on Friday, November 11, 2011.

Christmas Break
University offices are closed during the period between Christmas and New Year's Day. Eligible employees are not required to use vacation or banked time to cover this period. Included below is a table which outlines specific days off during Christmas breaks.
