AARAO Interchange Conference 2010

Welcome to the Interchange 2010 Website!

This year Mount Allison University will have the honour of hosting the Atlantic Association of Registrar’s and Admissions Officers (AARAO) Interchange Conference. AARAO is the professional organization representing universities and colleges in Atlantic Canada. We come together to promote cooperation between member institutions and the organization of mutually-beneficial recruitment events. The AARAO Interchange conference brings together Guidance Counsellors and University Personnel for networking and professional development opportunities.

This year our conference is concentrating on issues that attendees encounter in their efforts to help students transition to post-secondary education. We will be hosting sessions on mental health, career development theory, and learning disabilities. Our aim with this structure is to provide attendees with practical knowledge and skills that are applicable to our daily lives, and assist in making the connections between service providers at both the secondary and post-secondary levels.  It is for this reason that we have invited Student Affairs personnel from Atlantic Colleges/Universities to participate in the conference for this year.
