Books
Use the library catalogue to find books relevant to your topic. Doing an Exact Search for your region as an LC Subject will bring you to a browsable list of subject headings. For example:

Nunavut--Social conditions. Inuit
Nunavut--Social conditions. Inuit women
Nunavut--Social life and customs.
Nunavut--Social life and customs. Caribou Eskimos
Nunavut--Social life and customs. Inuit
Nunavut--Social life and customs. Inuit women

You may need to search more than one region (e.g. Scandinavia and a specific country or countries). Doing both keyword and subject searches will give you the broadest coverage of your topic.
