spacerPatton, John MacMillan Stevenson (1915-). Born in Warwick, Bermuda, on August 29th, 1915, Patton served with the 1st Battalion, Royal Canadian Engineers. On the 21st September 1940, an unexploded bomb was found in the Hawker Hurricane factory in Weybridge, Surrey, England. Patton retrieved the bomb and dumped it into an existing crater. For his bravery he was awarded the George Cross.
