Pegi Nicol MacLeod

Untitled (WRCNs in dining room) spacer Born in Listowel, Ontario, Pegi Nicol MacLeod studied painting at the Ottawa Art Association and the L'École des Beaux-Arts, Montreal. Commissioned by the National Gallery of Canada in 1944, MacLeod produced oil and water colour painting depicting the activities of the three women's services. She continued to paint and teach until her death in 1949.
